B6 non-time based charts overcrowd time scale...

... create an ES 5000v chart, pan it to the left. See the time scale is full of days crowded together out for 2 months, making it unreadable. Seems like the bar spacing could easily be estimated/averaged from the existing chart to improve clarity.

What method are you using to compress the chart bars? On my end, I am able to compress the ES chart without seeing the crowded bars in your screen shot. To do this, I clicked and held my mouse in the time axis and dragged it to the right.

What is your Merge Policy set to, this is found at Tools > Options > Market Data > Global Merge Policy.

Also, how many Days to Load are selected for the chart? To check, right click on the chart > Data Series.

you'll need to try this on a day when the instrument isn't trading using the info above... like a weekend. once the new week starts up the issue seems to be resolved. but folks still need charts on the weekend ;-}

Are you able to try setting s Custom Range (right click on the chart > Data Series > Load days based on) to exclude the current day?

Or, you can close NinjaTrader and try setting your PC clock back a couple days so the current day's data won't be loaded when you connect.
