Connection to IB TWS fails because of invalid symbol

I was logged in to IB TWS with an adviser paper trading account. NT8 made the connection fine the first time but after i sent afew test trades on symbol EUR.USD it faild to connect the next time ... error:
Received position for unknown symbol 'EUR', error 'Received Interactive Brokers contract with no exchange set for symbol 'EUR.USD''

i think this was due to the fact that i sent a manual order in TWS to sell EUR.USD but not to the IDEALPRO exchange, rather i did a conversion order which goes in as (fxconv) order.
i think this caused the problem. log and trace files attached.

Is this something you can reproduce every time you attempt to do this and, if so, may I request a video recording of this in action?
