Hot Keys only work correctly if no drawing objects are selected

Hot Keys only work correctly if no drawing objects are selected. Otherwise, the hot key will only output the currently selected drawing object type. (Not sure of hot keys other than drawing objects)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Left-click an existing drawing object that's already on the chart to select it (ex: a "line")
2. While that object is still selected, use a hot key of another drawing object, such as a "rectangle" (Ctrl+F12)
3. Expected behavior is a "rectangle" is drawn, instead the originally selected object is created (a "line").
