How to add historic market data

Hello,

I would like to add historical marketdata manually. In my case I am interested in the FDAX and FGBL futures , and there also 10 years ago.

I am using IB as my primary connection.

I know that I can load the daily data for such symbols several years, but for sure not 10 years back.
Therefore I would like to add the older data manually.

How to proceed?

You can manually import historical data at Control Center-->Tools-->Import-->Historical Data. More information and instructions can be found at the link below.

Hi Jason,

I am aware of the import historic data function. As of NT7 this function allows to import the data, but you can work with the data only if you are offline, e.g. not connected to a broker.

Once you connect to a broker (IB in my case) , all the data that is not recognised by the broker cannot be displayed. As IB does purge older symbols (FGBL 03-10 for example), even if you import that data manually you cannot use it when connected.

Do you have a solution for this?

It should not load all historical data from the connected data feed/broker connection if it is already present in NinjaTrader. Please see the link below.

What end date is used in the chart and how much historical data does it request?
