indicators not moving up or down in indicators dialog

when using the up or down arrows in the indicators dialog box to shift the order of indicators I find it doesn`t apply them to the chart..

Thank you for writing in. I am unable to replicate this on my end but I am probably trying to replicate in a different manner. Do you possibly have specific steps which you can take to reproduce this behavior?

Hi Michael, I click the "up" and "down" buttons in the indicators dialog box to shift my indicators up or down past the other indicators. but when I press "apply it does not apply the changes to the chart. Is it working on your end?

The intended function of the 'up' and 'down' buttons within the indicators window is to re-arrange the list of indicators and has no affect on the actual plotting on the chart.

Are you referring to the Z-order of the chart objects? If this is the case then Z-order functions identically as it did in NinjaTrader 7. Select the chart object you wish to modify > Hold down SHIFT and use your mouse scroll wheel to adjust its level.

Great I can just drag the indicator into a new position at the bottom of the chart, thanks Patrick.
