    NT8 stop-loss question

    HI,

    I am currently using NT8 direct edition and always use stop-limits for entry, and as soon I get filled, I then manually enter a stop-market order for protection.

    I was wondering what would happen if say my SL order filled, then I set my SM, but before it got hit (assuming the market went against me) I was disconnected from the internet.

    Would I then be left unprotected with NO stop-loss? Or does the SL order go straight to NT's server the instant I place it on the SuperDOM?

    Thanks for the post.

    Orders in a state of 'Working' or 'Accepted' are typically no longer locally held on your machine and will execute even if you are disconnected, however this varies based on your provider/brokerage.
