    Trade performance tab

How do I get the trade performance tab to sit beside the position tab?

I'm not sure I follow... can you post a screen image of what you see and what you are looking for?

Don't do those phone pics... do cntrl+alt +print screen (alt+print screen will do your entire desktop)..., open MS paint, paste in there (cntrl+v, OR use the menus).. and edit away.... You might want to use one as a "buffer" area to do cropping and paste/move into another PAINT.

thanks Sledge for the advice, normally I use the snip tool in windows, but I only used the phone on that occasion because it showed the halo effect clearer than a screen grab but you solved that anyway cheers.

so basically in NT7 I could look at performance summary as a tab in my control center,
now it appears I can only access it via " New / Trade performance " opening in its own window,

I was hoping to place the tab down here somewhere..

        Hello jitterbug,

The Account Performance-tab in NinjaTrader 7 is not part of the Control Center anymore in NinjaTrader 8. It is not supported to add the Trade Performance window as a tab in the Control Center.

Can you please clarify why you like to add it as a tab in the Control Center. I would think a separate window is more convenient. You can place it anywhere you like and does not occupy the Control Center which can be used to see "live" information such as active orders and positions.

its not a big issue at this stage, I wouldn't waste programming resources on it, I wasn't sure how much work it would take to add the functionality of dragging the tab to the control center list of tabs.

I mentioned it more just as a possible *maybe* bug thinking it would be possible to drag it onto the tab list at the bottom of the control center. I just liked being able to quickly click between those tabs including trade performance when looking at that and jumping back to positions/orders.

not an important issue there are bigger fish to fry at this stage of the game

I see, thank you for clarifying.

This is not a bug. It is as expected that the Trade Performance window cannot be added to the Control Center.

I kind of miss it too. I have to go chase down another window rather than keep it handy in the control center. Definitely a missed feature from nt7.

I will forward the suggestion to support the Trade Performance window in the Control Center as a tab to development. Thank you for your feedback.
