Frequent Unhanded Exception Error causing crashes

Hi guys,

NT crashes for me at least a couple of times a day with this error. I haven’t quite figured out exactly how to replicate it, except to say it seems most likely to happen after an NT restart when I am flicking through my workspaces for the first time. Although in saying that, one time I tried to replicate it and opened NT about 10 times in a row and it never happened. Then an hour later I had to start NT again and it happened immediately.

It actually has two different errors although they haven’t come out clearly in the attached screenshots.

These errors are:

Unhandled exception: Cannot call DragMove or Activate before a window is shown.

Unhandled exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Pressing ‘OK’ does nothing except create a beep so I have to kill NT and restart.

I will send the log files with this thread as the reference.

This error just happened again but this time it only displayed one error 'Unhandled exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

Pressing OK made the popup disappear and NT kept working, except one chart was non-responsive (as per screenshot).

Next prior to sending can you check the following items at the bottom:

• Log and trace files
• Workspace files and UI settings
• Template files
• Database file
