CQG conneciton problem - not updating in realtime, historical data gaps

I've had repeated problems with gaps in my historical data after connecting to CQG (via AMP), which are usually filled when I right click on the chart and reload all historical data.

But I'm now unable to get real-time updates at all. The DOM and Time and Sales show data is coming in.

I have neither problem with NT7 using the same connection.

Any suggestions?

I think the Real-Time update problem was related to the new PC clock not being accurate, at least it seems OK now that I've reset it. The inaccuracy didn't seem to affect NT7 though.

Thanks for the post. I am glad to hear that the issue has been resolved. I would expect the PC clock being out of sync to create various issues within both NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8.

For your reference, here are the steps to sync your PC clock so this does not occur again:

• Close NinjaTrader.
• Click on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop.
• Press 'Change time zone...'.
• Set the Time zone and press 'OK'.
• Click on Internet Time tab.
• Set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update.

Your PC clock should now be updated.
