    8.0.0.4 Workspace seems to continue to load after its closed

    I'm sorry I can't do a better job of duplicating the issue and the problems that result from it.
    Summary:
    1. Open a workspace with one or more charts that take a long time to load, e.g. 60 seconds.
    2. Close the workspace while it is in the process of loading, after e.g. 10 seconds
    3. Watch NT continue to use 50% CPU time in Task Manager e.g. for another 50 seconds
    4. Occasionally, maybe 1 time in 20, watch NT8 lock up "hard" or log weird errors like "Unable to clear out cache data" and several others, seeming to happen as soon as the closed workspace finishes loading.

    Note that this particular example is using "slow" bars that are not marked "Break at EOD", as reported here: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=78261
    IMHO it's barely possible that the issues overlap, but I haven't tested it thoroughly.

    Can you attach one of the large workspace files in question so I may attempt to duplicate?

      Attached is a zip file containing both workspaces used in the screencast. They are extremely simple.

        Hello dalebru,

        Thank you for you patience on this one.

        I have figured out what is causing the problem here and has already been reported as bug. Please right click in the background of your chart and select 'Data Series...'. Once in the Data Series window, uncheck the option, 'Break at EOD', and click 'OK'. Your volume chart should load up much faster while being disconnected.
