Not sure what the intended behavior is here but if you create an alert in a NinjaScript file with the Alert function you can hear the sound of the alert firing but it will not be in the alerts log if you open it up. If you already have the alerts log open then it will appear in the log.
This is different behavior from an alert created manually on a chart. In that case you can open the alerts log and see any alerts that have fired while the window was closed.
