Unable to assign an instrument to a new chart

When creating a new chart, the Instrument drop-down list is solely populated with the choice, "Dummy".

This behavior cropped up during 8.0.0.3 and has now persisted to 8.0.0.4.

Any insights into how to remediate this?

Do you have any chart templates saved under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Chart?

If so, can you shut down NinjaTrader 8, then try moving those .xml files to a temporary location such as your desktop, then restart and try again?

If that helps, can you email us your chart templates so we can look into what went wrong?

Glad to hear you're up and running with that advice - however not sure how your templates got in that state. Do you still have copies of those files on disk? If you have not yet, please be sure to send them into our platform support team so we can look at what went wrong.
