the above function definition inside an indicator in nt7 would give you a chance to change displayed names of an indicator.

In a first test on nt8 I have trouble with it, it is beeing called only one time but then never again and the displayed name is not changed either.

Could be an exception in my code, maybe catched internally in nt8,... anything has come across this...

That's changed between NT7 and NT8.. Simple search of DisplayName in NT8 help guide..

Edge is correct, you would use DisplayName to change the chart label of the indicator.
