Playback - Chart w/ charttrader - Lost trade arrows/text on new trades?

Had a trade with the marker in the first image. Fine.

Changed Playback date to a day or 2 forward.

Entered some more trades and noticed no price markers or text on the chart.

I've expanded/adjusted margins and no text exists. I did not see in chart->properties where to turn on/off text/markers.

(Sorry on the big images, 4k screen laptop).

Restarted and tried again.

No text/markers when Playback was running.

But when I disconnected - they showed up? (Not sure if this is what happened previously, I didn't do a disconnect - it might have had something to do with changing dates?)

Thanks for the post.

I was unable to reproduce this on my end.

Do you experience the same issue if you use a new workspace (one that you do not use for any other connection besides playback)?

The settings to display plot markers are in the Data Series properties. Right-click on your chart > Data Series > Locate "Plot executions" and let me know what this is set to.

Might be related to DX? New chart in a new workspace I created today. (Previous was just a new chart in not a saved workspace).

I have data downloaded for DX 09-15 from 7/20/2015 to 7/24/2015.

I manage to get the playback to get to 7/20..enter a trade and no price marker as shown.

Tried all 3 options and no change.

I made 3 more trades, and they did show up. Cycling through the 3 options worked on these new trades, but not the first one.

additionally - moving the slider back to restart - I've entered in 4 new trades and no markers or text.

I appreciate all the excellent feedback.

I have been trying to recreate this issue and I was able to do so once with the ES (so I don't believe it to be isolated to the DX), but I am still working on reliably recreating the issue.

I will let you know more information as I test further.

Could you write in to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com and include your workspaces and database?

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support. Please make sure to expand the "other files" option and checkmark the boxes next workspaces and database.

I came across another way in NT8-B4.

Open 2 charts. Say ES and anything else... (ES 06-15 & ES 03-15, or ES 06-15 & 6E 06-15.)

Run some playback on ES 06-15 with a strategy that produces trades. SampleMACrossover strategy should suffice. Or I guess even using chart trader will work.

Change chart which does not have trades to ES 06-15.

No trades show up. (Even turning off text and marker setting and turning it back on does nothing). So it appears it's missing a call somewhere to add trades to the chart.

If you create a new chart for ES 06-15 you do get trades.

I believe this is slightly different than what I was originally doing earlier.

The chart labeled 1 is in my original workspace.

I connected to Playback-MR - and it entered a trade and no text/markers on ES 06-15.

I added a chart ES06-15, and it had the text/marker. ( #2).

I saved this saved my work space with this chart added.

I restarted again and connected to Playback-MR.

Re-ran the strategy, and now #2 doesn't have text/markers, same as #1.

Added another chart - and that's image labeled #3. (it also looked like the old previous #2.

I used the same strategy in the Strategies tab in the control center.

Just an update, I'm running a previous test on a previously used layout that gave me troubles the last time I remember, and it's displaying the trades.

I'll switch back to the other layout tomorrow and see if that helps any.

I have up to this point been unable to replicate this issue reliably.

In my last post in this thread I requested that you send me your workspaces and database. Could you send those so I may test on my end?

Also, what were the results of your test with your other layout?
