Question:
When I switch to an instrument in a chart that doesn't exist in the database, if it is a valid ticker, it will add it to the database. Why doesn't it populate all the relevant fields from my data feed like description, exchange, etc. ?
Another suggestion would be to write an AddOn that allows us to query up this information and save it to the instrument database. I'm not aware of any documentation available to write to the instrument database which would be required to write this AddOn.
