Double Click Feature Missing

In NT7 in various drop down menu you can double click to cycle through the options , this is very handy and saves having to open the drop down and then click the desired option.

In NT8 this is missing and it forces you to have to drop down the menu to select.

Can this feature be reinstated?

I double click all the time, especially convenient for true/false bools. I support a change.
