    No RealTime data updates on some Instruments with IB Data Feed

    Hello

    I use IB connection for data. On NT7 all works OK. On NT8, some instruments (FDAX) is working OK, while other instrument like DAX Index is loading Historical Information but no realtime data is processed - I see NO updates in Charts as well as in T&S. If I request Historical data reload the gaps are filled but no updates after the load finishes. Tried both connections to TWS and IB Gateway.

    The NT8 installation loaded existing NT7 configuration a install time.

    Hello*ttzankov,

    Please go to Tools > Database.

    Then in the Database window use the Update instruments function.

    If you experience the same, do you receive a message in the Log tab?

      No Errors in the Log tab. As a test I chose another instrument that I have no subscription for (AAPL) and I then saw an error in the LOG file saying " Instrument AAPL Default is not ebanled to receive real-time data ...."

      I also did update the Instrument information before , and re-tried again the update now without any improvement. I verified the update by deleting the "DAX" instrument doing update and finding the instrument re-created ...

      In the IB Gateway log I see regular messages under NT8 client ID:

      16:22:40:520 -> 46-6-406-45-1437142961-
      16:22:40:522 -> 1-6-406-4-11654.11-0-0-
      16:22:41:522 -> 46-6-406-45-1437142962-
      16:22:41:524 -> 1-6-406-4-11653.85-0-0-

      This makes me believe that the data are sent over the IB API interface but not consumed by NT8.

      Any other Ideals ?

        Update:

        I de-installed 8.0.0.3 , deleted the NT8 folder in Documents and re-installed without importing the NT7 configuration.

        The problem still persists. I tried several other items, like EURUSD and all worked OK. DAX Index (^DAX, IB code: DAX|DTB) does not get updated but history loads OK.

        Can you please verify that this Instrument DAX Index works for you.
