Strategy ID = -1

I am working on moving my Local Order Manager to NT8.

My question is around the "Strategy Id". For some reason, when a strategy start, it seems to start pushing data into the OnMarketData() and OnBarUpdate() function with a strategy ID = -1. It seems like it changes later to a positive value, but this is confusing not sure the need or purpose. Seems to waste time.

The ID I am speaking of is set within a strategy:
this.Id == -1

I am not seeing a negative value. What states are you checking the Id in?

Hi Patrick,

I get this in Config/Historical/Terminate (it was on the weekend so there was no RealTime data) at a minimum on BETA2, let me try BETA3 and I will get back to you. I assume the -1 is during configuration of the strategy and should go away once we reach Historical state.

I have modified my scripts to ignore "-1" so I will remove that filter so I can test over the next few days.
