    Hello,

I believe this is a bug (see image)

    Trade Performance:
    Display: Summary (%)

After a few trades I noticed this, the gross loss is a lot less than the gross profit, yet the % says I've lost money (-0.13%) when I'm actually up $435.53 in profit. If i've made money, i shouldn't have a negative -% return.

Am i missing something here? This is a simulation account if it makes a difference.

    Hello fxgroundworks,

    Thank you for your patience.

The percent value is calculated as PRODUCT(1 + profit / entry price) of all trades - 1. The Gross Loss may not have been as large in currency but for the percent it was larger than the Gross Profit. Therefore the overall profitable profit is still negative as far as the percent.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I would just like to add, there is often a misunderstanding that the percent is based off of some sort of account value-> it is a representation of reinvesting your trades. Meaning, this metric will re-compound the previous trade profit percent value to arrive at the current, which is a recursive function.
