Order.Token

In Ninja Trader 7 , IOrder has a definition for Token (ScreenShot 1).But if we use the same strategy in Ninja Trader 8, the following error will display.

NinjaTrader.Cbi.Order’ does not contain a definition for ‘Token’ and no extension method ‘Token’ accepting a first argument of type ‘NinjaTrader.Cbi.Order’ could be found(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

So which definition is used in Ninja Trader 8 instead of Token ?

Hello,

You can reference Order.OrderId to get a string representing an order ID sent from the broker. If you are looking for a local token, then it looks like Order.Id may be the way to go. However, after testing on my end, it looks like Order.Id may not be fully implemented at this time, but feel free to test it out.

rmk, I've got a clarification for you on this question. Using a token is actually no longer necessary in NinjaTrader 8, because the Order object is not contained in a wrapper. Now you can directly compare the Order object in question to the one you created upon submitting the order, so there is no need for that extra step.
