NT8.002 "preset" for Custom Chart Types Error

    NT8.002 "preset" for Custom Chart Types Error

    It appears that the "numeric" custom chart ID is causing a popup error when attempting to "preset" and "save" a custom chart type configuration of settings.

    Chart unique id is "231".

    Error messasge is as follows.

    "Unhandled exception: Name cannot begin with the "2" character, hexadecimal value 0x32.

    Hello RJay,

    Just to confirm, you have created your own bar type script and you are using this on a chart and setting a preset for this custom bar type, is this correct?

    If so, may I test your bar type script on my end?

        Getting same error.. Can be accomplished just by duplicating the min bar type and changing the name and barsperiod.. Lines 92-95.. also changed line 28 in the ApplyDefaultValue..

        Edit.. (Just wanted to be a little more specific) Pull up new chart, add new bartype.. change or not change any settings, and try to save those settings as the default settings for that bartype..

            Thank you for patience as we tested this and reported to development.

            We are able to reproduce and development has let me know this is scheduled to be fixed with NinjaTrader 8 Beta 3.

            We highly appreciate you taking the time to find this issue and report this.

            Please let me know if you are able to find any other issues while testing NinjaTrader 8.
