      I am finding this issue is causing me intermittent bugs & exceptions in the evening. I have installed JING and made a quick screen case.

      I am thinking of changing my TIMEZONE to GMT but don't know the ramifications of the stored data.

        Hello NJA_MC,

        The Range bars would build down from the last price point to the current, so that would be "expected" with the unexpected behavior of the data not being shown past 8 PM.
        Thank you for the additional information on this matter. I do not think GMT will resolve this.

          I may try to set the TZ just as a test as I can't work past 8PM in the evening (which is my free time really).

          Do I just need to delete all the data in the DB folder when changing back and forth between time zones. I remember a posting of someone that changed and it cause some problem with an earlier beta.

            I wouldn't say it's necessary in this case, but it would not hurt to remove all data and reload after changing the time zone and restarting NinjaTrader.

              Hi Patrick,

              Sorry if I keep kicking this issue as I am not sure if you have found root cause, or haven't heard yet and want to make sure you have all the facts to help resolve this annoying issue.

              I did the experiment by setting the computer ahead to GMT +1 (+6 from EST). You are right, the gap didn't move, it stayed at 8PM! But data flowed again at Midnight. I have enclosed 3 charts, the GMT +1 chart (8PM GAP), EST Chart (8PM GAP) and EST chart showing the 2PM Price (the GMT +1 8PM Gap). Hope this helps to resolve this bug.

              Also note, this did not use 'Tick Replay' that had not yet been enabled on that system. So this is not specific a "tick Replay" issue.

              I didn't record it as I choose to run this on a different computer so I don't corrupt my development system very much. Also, these images were taken just minute a part.

                      #8482 which we thought we resolved in the last beta release. I am reopening this issue to revisit based off the information you've provided in this thread.

                          I would like to point out that 8pm EDT is Midnight Universal Time. That could easily have something to do with the misbehavior.

                              I send you the files you requested. I included a few images to show the time points where the gap formed.


                              Since I had the CL in this case running prior to the test, the data was fine (must be cached internally). So I "Reload All Historical Data" on the chart, and when the new chart comes up, the data after 8PM is missing.


                              Let me know if you need more help.

                                NJA_MC,

                                Our QA team has checked this out the last few nights and have been unable to reproduce. I'm not sure what would be different on your setup consdiering they were using all of your user data files that should hold these settings.

                                Would you be able to contact us to see if we can setup a live remote session with a support team member at the time of day you can consistently reproduce?

                                If any other forum members experience this bug, please feel free to chime in with any anecdotes that may help us pin point what's going wrong.
