    Date formats

This recent announcement (see attachment) is good to know -- thanks!

One point to note, please. The date is written as "5/19".

Please refer to this forum thread where I request a more standardized form of dates in communications: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=73996

    Thanks!

5/19 is unambiguous, but I see your point.

        Date formats

Yes, I wondered if anyone would make that comment.

In fact, in certain countries, that format is essentially meaningless as the calendar used is not Gregorian in nature (for example, Saudi Arabia (Islamic calendar), Ethiopia (Ethiopian calendar), Iran and Afghanistan (both use the Persian calendar)).

And in this case, I purposefully used the phrase "standardized form of dates" to indicate that the format is the issue, not any particular date expressed in the format. ... but then, we all knew that. ... and thanks for being interested and for the opportunity to talk about a fascinating topic.

A bit of a stretch, but could be May-2019, a real early warning of the down time...

Thanks guys, as we move more into regionalization with NT8 this is something we want to work towards in all aspects of the business. Won't be an overnight change but will get there one step at a time.
