NinjaScript to create new charts

Apologies if I've missed this in the documentation.

In NinjaScript, I want to create a new chart, including with the ability to set all characteristics of the chart as if done manually using the New Chart menu. How does one do that?

There is currently not a supported way to do this within NinjaScript. Unfortunately, after doing some searching online, I was not able to find a useful discussion regarding an unsupported way to accomplish this, either.

This is a long-standing requirement for me. It also seems an obvious enhancement in the nature of opening up NT8 to developers. Perhaps it may be possible to open up the methods required to do this? Or provide an undocumented way to do it?

Although NinjaTrader 8 include a much, much wider array of options for working with ChartControl and the UI, there is not currently support for opening a new chart in code.

However, I have submitted this as a feature request for inclusion in NinjaTrader 8, with tracking ID # SFT-377.
