FXCM Adapter supports Hedging in NT 8 ?

As of today my FXCM account is coupled with NT 7 Direct Edition.

As I learned through an error message
NT 7 dismisses connections to any accounts
that have hedging enabled.

The reason for this I found here:

The support of an hedging-enabled FXCM account
is a prerequisite for me to become a paying customer of NT.

Otherwise I need to default back to the FXCM Trading Station.

Please advise your plans of supporting hedging-enabled accounts
for the upcoming NT 8 software.

Unfortunately hedging accounts will not be supported in NinjaTrader 8.

I think many people from outside of the US would welcome this change, especially now that NT is becoming much more forex complete platform. But I suppose it is hard to see benefit of it from the US.

ErikG - as a workaround try setting subaccounts with FXCM and trade opposite positions on the separate accounts... still just a workaround.
