FXCM demo - no account created

Using Sim NT licence I created connection to my FXCM demo account - In NT7 during first connection it created new account (something like 12345678).
In NT8 it connected fine but no account created - using Sim101 for the connection.
Has anything changed in this regard?
I tried to test the same with Live NT licence but it was too late (FXCM closed for the weekend).
Is there any other place than Accounts tab on the Control Center where I could double check all created accounts?

EDIT: I checked also in Options -> Automated Trading Interface -> Default account, and here also no sign of the fxcm account.

Thank you for your post.

Using a Free Edition License Key we do not see any accounts outside of the installation, so my FXCM demo account for example is not shown.
If I use a Live License Key and connect to my FXCM demo connection after entering the License Key I can see the demo account.

Please remind me - was it always like this - ie you need live licence to trade with external demo account (FXCM in this case) or did it change with NT8? I haven't used Sim licence for a while, hence the question.

Thank you for your response.

In both NinjaTrader 7 and 8 you need a Live License Key to trade to an external account whether demo, paper or sim.
