Candlestick timing

Candlestick timing ... if it is 1:00 p.m. the current candlestick in a NT chart shows 1:01 p.m. which as far as I know several other charting systems use the opening price of the candlestick so if the start of 1:00 p.m. the candlestick shows 1:00 p.m. Is there any chance that NT will ever change this to the opening candlestick time or better yet, give us the option to change whether we want to see a current candlestick time or the one minute ahead NT
candlestick ? I was given an answer that this problem was assigned a feature request id # 1240. Just wondering if this has been fixed in the NT 8 update.

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader 8 will continue to function as NinjaTrader 7 does in this regard - bars will always be time stamped with the time and date of the bar's close. Using end of bar time stamps is required in order to be able to plot multiple series of differing time frames within a single chart all accurately synchronized to time.
