I'm entered that line in the OnBarUpdate and issued a Print after it, no error.

I put BarHeight as a private variable and made the assignment in OnBarUpdate - no error.

Are you sure it's this line? Anything else special going on?

I think its the ".ToString" that is causing the error message in this case.

I cannot reproduce that error either, even with the ToString() method. Where are you attempting to access this value?

Hmm, what Bass are you testing this on? I tried all the default BarsTypes and do not get any error-> I simply get the BarsPeriod printed to the output window.

I created a new indicator doing the same task as the old one and the problem went away.

Deleted the old one. Problem solved.
