Closing strategy analyzer after a backtest of large dataset hangs up

If I do a backtest of, say, 4 years of ES 5min bar data on a RTH session, the test is pretty fast. But if I do another test, or just try to close the strategy analyzer window, it hangs up NT7 RC1. It's like it's trying to clear out the data of the previous test, but it takes longer than the actual back test took! I don't know what it's doing. It's also jacking up the CPU fan on my computer, so it must be caught in some sort of loop or race condition. I eventually have to shut down NT to get my fan to slow down.
