RC-1 Install

I installed RC-1, which is also 7.0.0.23 listed in help:about. I don't think this is related, but I can't connect to Vision Financial. It says that it is connecting, then it disconnects. The log does not have any errors. It was working as of yesterday. I tried to upload my log file but the manager said it was "invalid." and then I tried a pdf format and it was too large.

I also tried the 64-bit version and it said that the "64-bit version can not connect to Vision Financial." I thought this was fixed already?

I am unable to recreate this issue. Please email your updated log & trace files for one of the effected dates.

You can find these in:
1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt

(see screenshots)

Note: it is not recommended to convert these text files to PDF format.

I sent my log and trace files. Note that I can connect to Vision Financial in the 32-bit version of NT. Vision was down for a few hours, but came back up. However, the 64-bit version of NT gives the errors listed in the logs.

I figured it out. One of the menu items for 64-bit is only visible if you open the "settings" inside the Account Connections. You should put in a request to development that they change the error given from:
"Vision Financial: 'Vision Financial Markets' is not available in the 64-bit version of NinjaTrader.You must use the 32-bit version of NinjaTrader.(LoginFailed)"
Instead it should say you "must enable the (beta) 64-bit interface in Account Connections." It still gives the warning about "beta testing" in there. Then I would know I have to do something to enable it rather than being told it does not work at all.
