Tick Frame in chart

Hi everybody
in the charts from NT 6.5 we have tick intervals, in NT 7 we don't have it, is it posible do insert those manualy?

Thank you for your note.


There are two ways to view a tick chart in NinjaTrader 7.


The first and fastest way is to type into the chart the ammount of ticks per bar and 'T'. For example, if you wanted to see a 150 Tick bar chart, you would type into the chart 150 T.
The second way is to Right click in the chart and select 'Data Series' from there select 'Tick' from the 'Type' field on the right column and use the 'Value' field to set how many ticks per bar.

Thank you for the answer, great, I found it. An other question, in NT 6.5 - Chart Properties - Grid line, are a line "Horizontel grid line interval (intraday only)", can't found it in NT7 and I liked very much.

The Horizontal grid lines interval exists in NT 7, but it has moved under the price axis properties.

Double click on the Price Axis -> In the new window set 'Horizontal grid lines interval value'

You can also change the interval type from Points to Ticks.

thank you again, next question, I think we didn't have it on the NT 6.5, but maybe it is now somewhere hidden in the NT 7, a "Tick counter" in the Price Axis side. Maybe.

Both NT 6.5 and 7 have the 'TickCounter' default Indicator.

To add this, Right click on the chart -> Indicators -> Scroll to find 'TickCounter' -> Press 'New' and 'OK' you will then see the Tick Counter in the lower right hand corner of the chart.

I can't believe it, I looked so many times everywhere and there it siting all the time. Ok, now I have to ask, is there also a Slow Stochastic and I don't found it?

Unfortunately, we have the Stochastic and Fast Stochastic indicators only.


However, since most NT indicators have values you can edit, check post #3 to see if those settings will work for you.
