Backup ninjatrader 7

I would like to make sure that I backup all my workspaces, templates, installed ninjascript as well as the Instrument Database with all changes. However, I do not care about data.

In the Backup dialog I am checking:
Configuration Files, Database, Ninjascript Files, Templates and Workspaces

However, I am NOT checking: Historical Chart Data, Log and trace files, or Market Replay Data

I just want to make sure that the Instrument Database is backed up (I lost this one time on Ninjatrader 6.5 as I did not back up the Database).

Please let me know if the settings I used are correct or if I will loose my settings/customizations (which is what I really care about). Again, I do not care about historical chart data or trades

Thank you for your post.

The conservative response here would be to run a backup both ways – full & partial (as you described in your post) & then assign different names to both files.

This would also serve as a reference in the future when you want to run the back up again.
