Strange logic

Hi,

Please see attached. I cannot understand why the second conditional is testing true.

I plotted all the indicators on the chart so you can see the calculated/tested values.

Any help appreciated.

Hello DayTradingFool,

You can use Print() statements to verify that the output matches the values you're checking for. If you want to analyze why a particular conditional returns true, strip out all the other components - || clauses and nested if statements. Simplify and print should help tell you what's going on.

Ahh.. found it. the 'percent' variable was being over-ridden by the min value of 1....
