RANGE BARS in FC1

hi,

it seems like nt 7 FC1 can not plot RANGE-BARS from historical data. does anybody else has this problem too or is there any workaround?

Thank you for your note.

NinjaTrader 7 RC 1 does have the ability to create range bars from historical tick interval data.

What occurs as you attempt to load range bars on your end?

Also, please let me know which data provider you're using with NinjaTrader.

i am using zenfire! the chart is empty and only starts realtime plotting range bars.

Hello bstrader,

If you right click in your range interval charts, is the 'Reload All Historical Data' option available or grayed-out?

If the option is available, please select it and see if the missing data will then populate.

In the message, please include the following:

1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) Your most current trace file.
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
Today's trace file will be named 'trace.20101102.txt'.

3.) Your config file.
You will find the Config file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder.
The file will be named 'Config.xml'.
