After 2.5 years, will we see NT7 release support SGD currency ?

Subsequently there are a number of other threads have appeared also hightlighting this limitation.

After a few years nothing has been done.
So is it that difficult to setup a new currency ? Or is the market really such a low priority ?

Had i known there is such a basic limitation with NT, i wouldn't have bought it in the first place

Currency is not relevant as per the Patsystems adapter. You can select any currency as substitute and receive data for your custom instrument. Because of this we will not make any changes in this regard.

So you mean with Patsystems:
For SGD denominated Futures like MSCI Singapore futures traded on SGX.
I just add the symbol but set the currency in another currency say USD.

You mention there should not be problems receiving data...
But what about TRADING the instrument ?
Will all NinjaTrader functions will guarantee to work with Patsystems with no problems?
Yes or No ?

Yes, you can set currency to USD instead.

Yes, the currency setting is not relevant in the Patsystems adapter. You should be able to trade the instrument like any other instrument.

Another question, some traders i know use TT.
Will this workaround work for TT ?

Ninja uses TTFix and not XTAPI so unless you clear with UOBS, using Ninja with the TT plant is not an option last time I checked. The monthly cost of TTFix at UOBS is more than XT_Pro, but it might make sense if you need multiple instances of Ninja (ie a group of traders or servers).

Phillip was looking at adding TTFix to their offerings but that monthly cost is dictated by TT I believe.
