Build 23 crashes on Replay and Data Box

Version 7 build 23.

I have now duplicated this error on 2 separate independent machines. One is a Windows XP 32 bit machine and the other is Windows 7 64 bit machine.

I did a clean install of build 23. I did not migrate anything.

1) Downloaded Replay data for TF level 1 10/29/2010.
2) Created a TF Chart 6 Range.
3) Connected to Replay and scrubbed to about 9:00am.
4) Right clicked on chart and launched Data Box or middle mouse click to bring up the mini data box.

This causes the NT must shut down error. UGH. Build 22 did not have this error.

I would like to install build 22. How do I do this?

Please send you Log & Trace files from one of the effected PC’s by going to Help > Mail to Support > make sure “Log & trace files” is checked and then click send.

Once we receive the files we can take a look at what might be taking place in the background.

Are you unable to duplicate this error using the steps I described? There are no variables here. A clean install, no migration, your data. XP and Windows7.

I sent my trace and log on Saturday.

I was able to duplicate this on my side.

I have sent in into development. Thanks for reporting. Please work around the issue for now as it does not crash NinjaTrader and we will get it resolved in the next version.

Thank you Brett !!! I was starting to think it was my mouse driver or something bizarre like that. (Hopefully those days are long gone).

On my machine, when this error occurs, most of the time I have to kill NT from Windows Task Manager - very ugly. Could you please provide a way to download build 22 (send me a link privately if you have to). I don't think I can wait another month for build 24. I need to use Replay to develop some real-time code and I'm dead-in-the-water with build 23 and NT6.5 does not provide a key feature I'm coding to. I was a happy little coder with build 22 .
