No longer get backup reminder

I like the feature to connect on startup but when I have it set I don't get a reminder to backup when I exit NT7. Is there something else I need to turn on to get the backup reminder?

Hello BobTN,

The setting for the reminder is found by clicking File > Utitlities > Backup.

It should work for you even if you have a connection at startup. You will first have to disconnect manually to get into this screen.

I guess I wasn't clear. I already have the reminder checked. Before I set :Connect at startup" i got a reminder when I exited NT7. Since I set "Connect at startup" I haven't recevied a reminder when I exit. The only way I get a reminder is if I disconnect before I exit.

I have Monday set as my backup day but I don't always trade on Monday. In the past if I didn't make a backup on Monday I would be reminded on Tuesday. Is that still the way it works?

It should remind you until you do the backup. If you have already done a backup this week then you won't get another reminder until next monday.

I haven't noticed any issues with the zenfire connect at startup option. Try setting to Tuesday and see if you get notification.

I changed by backup day to Tuesday. The last backup I did was 10/28 (last Thursday). I did not get a backup reminder yesterday or today when I was connected to Zen-Fire at exit. Should I get a reminder Thursday or Friday?

Hi Bob,

If your backup reminder is set to Tuesday, then you'll likely receive a backup notifcation on Tuesday. If you do a manual backup in between now and Tuesday or you change to another day then you might not see it on Tuesday.
