3rd anchor point for the Ruler display flag can't be placed at a discretional point

When using the ruler, and snap mode set to ‘Bar and price’, the third anchor point (for the Ruler display flag) cannot be placed at a discretional point – however, it is not part of the measurement.

Arpad, I'm not sure I follow - can you clarify the term 'dicreational point' for me? All anchors would be snapped, so a 'free hand point' on the grid is then possible to tie the ruler to.

I beg you to try to duplicate that I have written. Take it word by word.

1) Open a chart.
2) Set Snap mode to 'Bar and price'.
3) Activate the Ruler
4) Click once to place the first ruler point.
5) Click second to place the second ruler point.
6) Click third to place the display flag to a discretional point. Discretional, I mean whatever place you want, and not snapping to anywhere. This is not possible, and I consider this an error.

Arpad, unfortunately you could not place the flag with the measuring info to any point of your liking if you're in this snap mode, it would be linked to the last anchor point. Thanks for the suggestion and detailed report.
