New=>MBT Navigator - Beta 22 is not idiot proof.

I chose by mistake New ==> MBT Navigator menu item, when already connected to MBT. Since this moment Beta 22 :

• takes all available CPU time
• works OK , but slowly
• cannot be terminated via Exit, only by kill a process.

New ==> MBT Navigator appears on menu only when connected. I don't understand what's a purpose of this item - you cannot connect twice to MBT. Also, if appears, why under New menu ?

I presume I got a race condition or a deadlock in one of NT threads, which didn't influence another threads, but slowed down the whole computer.

Can you please clarify what you mean by New-->MBT Navigator? Are you attempting to connect to multiple MBT Navigators? If so usfortunately this is not supported.

Sorry if my english is hard to understand.

I wanted to open New ==> Market Analyzer window. An item "MBT Navigator" appeared above the item "Market Analyzer" under "New" menu. Because a lack of coordination between my brain and my finger I pressed "MBT Navigator" by mistake. I know that multiple connections to MBT from the same machine (not only from the same NT) are not supported and I did not intend to create the multiple connections.

Therefore questions in my 1-st post are awaiting an answer.

Anybody can answer, why this MBT Navigator menu item appears when connected to MBT? No needless menu items, no user mistakes. Its important especially now, when you publish NT7 release candidate. Nobody want't be caught in situation, described above, when trading live.

This is expected behavior. NinjaTrader launches the MBT Navigator automatically upon connection to MB Trading. While connected within you are not permitted to open another instance of MB Trading at that time.

The File > New > MBT Window is there for a valid reason, as part of the MBT connection that you configure you can choose to either launch the MBT window or not - so we need to offer a way to open it separately.

I tried reproducing your initial issue with my MBT live accout, but could not, when I connect the MBT Nav window normally opens, I could then close it down and reopen from the File > New command without issues, please keep monitoring should the race condition reoccur.

I'll monitor this issue after upgrading to RC1. Thank you.
