Long and short open positions in "Positions" Tab

Long and short open positions at same time:

I run few strats for same symbol, so sometimes they have ES orders in Long and short at same time.
But this doesn't reflect in "Positions" Tab. it shows either or short

Hello kumaresh11,

This is expected. The positions tab will reflect your position based on all orders submitted to the account. If you want to separate longs from shorts, you must create a separate account.

This is only possible with a live license. Click Tools > Options > Simulator tab > Accounts > Type in a new name and click save.

well. we can create few accts in sim, but I go to live acct, can we not do Long and short both in same acct? or need to have 2 accts for these?

The positions tab will reflect order activity in all areas of the platform. If you wanted to hold long and short positions at the same time this requires multiple accounts.
