This is really annoying. Various dialogs do not retain their settings. This is so simple to do and a staple of good GUI design. When I use download market replay data it defaults to 6E (first instrument) and today's date, which is a Sunday. It's pretty uncommon that we can download the replay data for the current day, this would only work after the close. I'm constantly downloading either the right instrument & wrong date or right date & wrong instrument.
The strategy dialog does the same. if I want to change one parameter, I have to enter all the info again. Choose the instrument, timeframe, etc.
This is so easy to do and not doing it is just lazy. I've never written a program in my life that didn't retain settings on dialogs like this.
