Simulated Stop Orders

Has the functionality of Simulated Stop Orders changed with NT7 when compared with NT6.5? I remember SSO working with Stop Loss orders in NT6.5, however they don't seem to apply to NT7? If this is correct, is there some setting I can use to have my stop loss use a volume trigger?

Hello Paul,

Functionality of Simulated Stop Orders did not change in NinjaTrader 7. You can still setup a volume trigger the same way. Please set 'Stop strategy' to <Custom> and a new window will appear, which will allow you to setup a volume trigger for your stop loss. More information can be found at the link below.

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually found the solution myself 10 mins ago. Unfortunately that was after I was low-ticked on what turned out to be a winning trade.

Never mind - that will ensure I remember this lesson well!!
