trade entry market drifts on chart

    7.22
When i get a fill on my charts, the marker shows the entry in the right place. (default marker, pink triangle).
Often when the position closes out, the entry marker moves.

See attached chart. My limit order was submitted at the point of the red dot, 1Step. It was filled a few bars later. Later, when the exit was filled, the entry marker driftted.

    ssylwester,

    Thanks for your post.

Which type of chart are you using here?

Is historical data reloaded at one point or another?

      Live chart.
The entry marker will make the jump to other area while i'm watching it, at the trade exit. WIthout any data or indicator refresh.

But yes, the historical data is refreshed / reloaded sometimes as well. That may also cause a jump in marker, but not sure.

        ssylwester,

Which data provider are you using with NinjaTrader?

In which interval are you charting in the image you provided originally?

            ssylwester,

Are these trades which are placed in the Sim account or a brokerage account?

                Hi ssylwester,

                Thanks for the clarification.

While I do understand what you're referring to, I'm not yet able to replicate the behavior on my end.

Is this something you can replicate on a somewhat consistent basis?

Yes, it happens often, but not consistently. Will try to figure out the conditions.
