Where is a complete instrument map of US stocks?

I type in INTC on chart and it come sup and I understand if I type in a rare symbol even a US stock that I may have to map it. But tons of stocks just have no map - NFLX hardly a rare stock and yet it says I have to map it - surely someone has a map file of all US stocks on AMEX NASDAQ and NYSE - - I just do not know where to find it and I cannot type in the thousands of ones missing from default list - it should include at least all USA stocks to begin with.

Hello webber,

The easy way of creating a new stock / etf instrument is just type the symbol name on a chart and hit enter. If it doesn't exist, NinjaTrader will create the instrument automatically.

Yes the easy way if it works

As I said that is what I do but with IB feed it does now work with 50% or more symbols - a window tells you you must assign an additional exchange and one cannot do that with thousand stocks.

The link you gave will help as one person found a work around but not so easy to do and only for NASDAQ and NTSE no AMEX and only stocks over 500k vol and over $5

It works pretty well with TDAmeritrade but IB has this problems and would be good if Ninja fixed it Or maybe anothe rsolution beside thoe one offered by the link you gave.
