Genetic optimizer multithreading

Hello,

I was optimizing my strategy with genetic optimizer (which is by the way a great feature). I realized that it was only using one of my processor cores, so I've looked into it, and found this in the GO code:

if (strategyParameters.HasBoolOrEnum)
                {
                    multiThread = false;

Please clarify on this: the GO will not use multiple threads if my strategy has a bool parameter (which is my case) ? Why?

Yes, correct this is expected currently - we're aware of this and looking to enhance the GA further to remove this limitation.

If you replace your bool paramter with a an int (1 or 0) then you can get around this limitation and use multiple cores.
