intraday data

I want to back test strategies for as many years on intraday data as possible ( 5 min chart). I currently use zenfire as my data provider but they only give 1 year of intraday data. I am looking for a minimum of ten years. I want to test the es.d or spy and the currency markets. Does anyone know of a data provider besides tradestation that can provide this?

Thank you for your forum post.

You may want to look into eSignal or Barchart to see how much intraday data is provided here as I do not know off the top of my head. YOu would need to contact them for this information.

Kinetick does provide daily data that far back however do not provide intraday data that far back. I have just now tested there intraday data and I was able to get about 2 years back on the ES with kinetick.

Any luck finding longer data? I am having the same issue. Barchart.com say’s they can only do 2yrs of Intraday, Tradestation told me they would not allow the data to go to NT. Someone must offer longer data.

You can use the export data script to export your data from tradestation over to NinjaTrader.

I was able to do this as well. I was able to get intra day data from 1997 till present on the es and nq
