Google connection for Hong Kong Tickers

Dear Sirs,

I found the Google connection cannot get the data of Hong Kong Tickers.

eg. CHINA MOBILE
symbol of ADR is "CHL"
symbol in HK is "0941" also tried "HKG:0941"

It can get the CHL data but cannot get the 0941 data

Can anybody tell me how to set it?

Hello Robert,

I tested it with Google, however I was unable to receive data for the 0941 stock.

However I am able to receive data when connected to the free Yahoo feed. Please set 'Type' to Stock in the Control Center-->Orders-tab. Type 0941.HK in the 'Name' field and hit Enter on your keyboard. Let me know if this will not work for you.

Yes, I know Yahoo also provide the data. Yahoo connection works fine.

I just wonder why Google connection cannot...
I can get the data from Google web page using symbol "HKG:0941"....

Just want to setup another bacpup connection only.

Unfortunately instruments that only consist of numbers or that use a dot, comma, colon or hyphen in the symbol, are not supported.
