Chart Trader messes up charts

In NT7, when I turn on Chart Trader in a chart that is already open, it seems to make the charts go bad, ie changes location of Bollinger bands, prevents me from moving my stop/target, etc. See screenshots in word file attached (sorry I don't know any other way of attaching screenshots).

Can you please check if you have the latest beta version installed (7.0.0.22). You can check this at Control Center-->Help-->About. Are you able to reproduce this issue consistently?

Please send me the workspace that contains the 6C 12-10 15 minute chart, so I can test it on my end. You can find workspaces at (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->workspaces.

Contracting Y scale with chart trading

Hello,

I am having the same problem. I am beta 7.0.0.22. when I put on even a simulated chart trade with stop and targets any time I place the cursor anywhere in the graph the Y scale begins to shrink at what looks like around one pixel per second(refresh?). When I move the cursour outside of the graph real estate the graph corrects itself to where it should have been. It makes it dificult to grab buy and sell indicators to move them.

Can you please tell me if the Y-axis only shrinks if you have an ATM strategy running.

Does the issue occur with each chart and in each workspace?

When I test it on my end, the Y-axis does not shrink when I hover my cursor in the chart and having an ATM strategy running

Could you please send me screenshots of situation before and after Y-axis shrinks.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

It does shrink when an ATM was set to <None> at buy.

It's OK in another workspace and instrument when a market buy is placed and before manipulating the trade. However, I can reproduce the problem by:
1) Buying at market.
2) Placing a manual stop below the purchase price by right clicking the chart and selecting the sell stop.
3) Doing the initial click on the stop to place it in modify mode and then start moving it around. The Y scale will then start to shrink while the stop is in the move mode.

This is the primary problem in that it is difficult to precisely place the new stop while the scale is changing.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this behavior on my end when I perform the outlined steps. When I am in 'modify mode' as per the sell stop order, it does not extend the Y-axis when moving upwards.
