The Close at Time function cannot be turned off after an ATM strategy has been entered. Even if I un-check the function, it will still exit the strategy at the set time. Is there no way to cancel the Close at Time function while the strategy is in the market? Thanks

Possible close at time bug
Hi, I'm using beta 22 sim
The Close at Time function cannot be turned off after an ATM strategy has been entered. Even if I un-check the function, it will still exit the strategy at the set time. Is there no way to cancel the Close at Time function while the strategy is in the market? ThanksTags: None

That's the problem. There are no ways to cancel this function after the order has been filled. If you click Close at Time after the entry order has been filled it will enable that function for the active order and exit at time. Surely it can be modified to cancel the function also...
Here's what I would like to be able to do (1 or 2 first, either way should be possible):
1. Enter with an ATM strategy
2. Set the Close at Time function for the active position
3. Disable the Close at Time function and continue past the set time
Here's what happens instead:
1. Enter with an ATM strategy
2. Set the Close at Time function for the active position
3. Disable the Close at Time function and it exits at the set time anyway

Hey there, upgraded to RC1, and I'm still having trouble with flattening a simulated position at a certain time. I understood the function to mean it will close the position at the time set in Options->Misc->Flatten Positions and only if the function was selected at order submission by right clicking the Chart Trader or DOM and clicking "Close at Time". I didn't select the Close at Time function upon order submission, so it shouldn't have closed the position right? What am I missing? I haven't tried this live yet.

I could not reproduce here - Flatten All needs to be unchecked in order to not apply the flatten time to each and every submitted order. I just tried a quick trade: close at time checked set to 6:02 AM here with Flatten All unchecked - trade submitted, filled and open position closed exactly on time.
