Select Object - Shift Scroll -ZOrder

When selecting chart Draw objects and attempting to change the ZOrder on the chart w/ Shift Scroll ... this message box pops up after I scroll my object to the "highest" ZOrder ...for example from 45 of 47 to 47 of 47 ...if I keep scrolling it forward as it I was not aware it was already hindmost in the ZOrder ..


Use Scroll wheel to change to 45 of 47 ..then use mouse wheel to scroll it to 46 of 47 ...47 0f 47 ...and keep scrolling with the mouse wheel ..the message pops up..

First ensure that you are on the latest beta version .22.

If you are then please send me your workspace to support at ninjatrader dot com and reference this forum post and put ATTN: Brett in the subject line as I am unable to duplicate this on my side. I have added 40 drawing objects to my chart and then scrolled on several of them up to the top most z order and kept scrolling and I could not get this to occur.

My Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Workspaces->Your Worksapce name.xml

Hello,

I'm not able to duplicate this with any ammount of scrolling with your workspace thus far.

However I have been able to duplicate your message when I hold down shift and then I start scrolling and then I click in on the mouse wheel.

Perhaps your mouse wheel center clicker is getting warn out and is clicking too easily. However if I click in on my mouse wheel as if I'm trying to bring out the mini databox this occurs. Do you find the same?

The mouse is not worn out..it is new.
it could be that it is too sensitive.

You could override/ignore the middle mouse click when you are adjusting ZOrder if that is the cause.
